This is the story of two roads that intersect. Harvest Church and New Life Church have come together and are now Burning River Church.
 

    Harvest Church began its existence in the fall of 1993 with just a couple of people attending.  The work began under the youthful leadership of Hombre Liggett, 23 years of age at the time, and was built with a hunger to worship God and help draw people to him. An emphasis on God's Love was foundational from the beginning.

    The location of the fellowship changed four times in its first two years. In 1995 with less than twenty committed people, and by God’s power and prophetic word, the fellowship landed in its current location, a 36,000 Sq. Ft. facility.

    In the year 2000 we began to build relationship with a ministry under the leadership of Rick Joyner in North Carolina called MorningStar Fellowship Ministry. We have since become a MorningStar Fellowship Church and operate under the covering leadership and authority of MorningStar Ministries.

 

    New Life Church was organized to it's more recent status under the leadership of Dode Overton. Dode took over as pastor of New Life Church in _______. In ---- God
